The Circle's Annual General Meeting was held at Southampton General Hospital on 22nd June. Angela Coxon was re-elected as Chair for 2003-04, and Ruth Henry was also re-elected as Treasurer. We were very pleased to have two guest speakers this year: Shirley Law from the Children's Heart Federation, and Dr Tony Salmon from SGH. The theme of their talks was the Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Review, and its implications for the Southampton Unit. You will be able to read a full write up of the AGM and the talks in the August Newsletter, which will be sent to members and will also be available on this website. A big thank-you to all who helped organise the AGM, and all those who attended and shared their views and votes!
