Jamie was born on 19 May 1990.
Jamie was diagnosed with double inlet left with rudimentary right ventricle and unrestrictive VSD (i.e. only one pumping chamber). He has had three operations: in July 1990 a pulmonary banding, in September 1994 the first half of a Fontan, and in October 1998 the completed Fontan.
He has made good progress so far, but needs further surgery to rectify a defective heart valve (not anticipated for some time). Jamie takes Wafarin daily.
